Surveys uses laser scanners to produce 3D point clouds for use with building information modelling (BIM).
HD laser scanning allows us to capture a complete record of any structure, so if additional detail is needed later on we can provide it without the cost of a second visit.
Once we’ve created the 3D point cloud, we can provide 3D models in various formats and also produce floor plans, elevations and sections.
This cutting edge technology is primarily used for BIM. However, laser scanning also allows us to scan highways that are inaccessible to survey teams, using mobile mapping to produce accurate topographical surveys that relate to the national grid.
